PHCC meets to talk about new president

Monday, May 10

Magna Vista High School Horticulture Department plant sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Henry County Board of Supervisors meet to discuss the 2022 fiscal year budget at 5 p.m. in the Summerlin Room at the Henry County Administration Building. 

PHCC Board will meet at 5 p.m. via zoom to talk about the candidates for next president.

Martinsville City School Board meets at 6 p.m. in City Council chambers.

Tuesday, May 11

Presidential candidate forum for PHCC at 9 a.m.

Magna Vista Horticulture Dpeartment’s plant sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Agents of Change: Female activism in Virginia from women’s suffrage exhibit through June 5 at the Martinsville-Henry County Heritage Center and Museum.

Yoga with Sheila Hubbard at Spencer Penn Centre at 4 p.m. on tuesdays. $8 per session of $40 for a series of six.

Wednesday, May 12

Leadership series: emotional intelligence for managers from 9-11 a.m. at PHCC. Registration is required. The cost is $124. Call 276-656-0260.

Magna Vista High School horticulture department’s plant sale from 9 a.m to 3 p.m.

Senior Studio is at 10 a.m. to noon at Piedmont Arts. Free to members and $5 for nonmembers. 

Grants and funding sources seminar by the Patrick County Chamber of Commerce will be at noon via Zoom. 

Introduction to loom weaving from 1-4 p.m. at the Creative Arts Center at the Reynolds Homestead. 

PHCC Board will have a special meeting at 5 p.m. via Zoom to consider candidates for president.
